Charles "Wacky" Sumimoto
Born in 1927, Charles "Wacky" Surimoto lived in Oakland Chinatown as a young child attending Lincoln School while his parents ran a soda pop business, a fish and tackle shop, and other shops among a thriving Japanese population in Chinatown. As a Japanese-American, Wacky also attended Wanto Gakwen Japanese School.WACKY'S MEMORY MAP
